Take 30 News, Mississippi State University’s student-run newscast, faced the challenge of growing visibility and engagement on the MSU campus and surrounding communities. With no consistent branding or posting, the goal was to transform the account from zero engagement to one capable of reaching new viewers. A multi-month social media growth campaign was executed to reintroduce the newsroom to wider audiences and to create community relevance.

Redesign was driven by the need to transform the student-run newscast into a professional, respected news station on Mississippi State’s Campus. Moving away from inconsistent posting and adopting a cohesive aesthetic made Take 30 more relevant on campus and in surrounding communities.

Overview - Umble Coffee Co.

Umble Coffee Co., a local coffee shop in Starkville, Mississippi, hired me to grow its online presence through consistent short-form video content, combined with various graphic posts. Over a two-year period, I helped develop a cohesive brand voice and tone while establishing a strong presence across Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. I led the full video production process, from concept and scheduling through filming and editing, using Planoly to ensure at least two weeks’ worth of content was ready to post, ensuring consistency and supporting platform algorithms. The strategy resonated with audiences, and I often got feedback saying, “I always get excited when I see Umble come up on my feed!”
